Habibi! Let’s pack for Dubai for 10 days.

Let’s consider the climate, cultural norms, and activities to engage in when packing for a 10-day trip to Dubai. The following is a list of things you should pack:

Clothing that is lightweight and breathable: Because Dubai has a hot desert climate, you should bring clothes that are lightweight and loose-fitting and made of breathable materials like cotton or linen. Dresses, shorts, skirts, and shirts with short sleeves are all options. However, dress modestly and with consideration for local customs.

Swimwear: Bring your swimsuits and beach clothes because Dubai has stunning beaches and opulent pools. Cover-ups to wear outside the pool or beach areas should always be brought.

Shade from the sun: To protect yourself from the sun in Dubai, bring sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, a lightweight scarf or shawl, and sunscreen with a high SPF.

Shoes that are comfotable: Because you’ll likely be walking a lot while exploring the city, bring sandals or comfortable walking shoes. Also, if you want to go to fancy clubs or restaurants, bring dress shoes or heels.

Proper attire for cultural locations: Numerous religious and cultural sites in Dubai require modest attire. Carry long pants, shirts with long sleeves, and a shawl or scarf to cover your shoulders for these visits.

Sweater or lightweight jacket: Even though Dubai is hot during the day, air conditioning can help cool things down in the evening or inside. For such occasions, bring a sweater or light jacket.

Medicines and toiletries: Include a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and any necessary medications in your kit of toiletries. Check Dubai’s regulations in advance because some prescription drugs may require a doctor’s note or special permission.

Adapters for trips: If your devices use different plug types, bring a travel adapter that is compatible with Dubai’s three-pin rectangular plug (Type G).

Documents and money: Bring enough cash or credit cards for your trip, identification, your passport, and information about your travel insurance. A digital or photocopy of important documents should also be stored separately.

Entertainment and electronics: Bring the chargers and adapters for your camera, smartphone, and any other electronics you’ll need. Also, you might want to bring some books, e-books, or other forms of entertainment with you on the trip.

During your time in Dubai, be sure to check the local laws, customs, and dress codes to ensure that you are respectful and in compliance.
